We start with an introductory interview. During this interview, the whole treatment is discussed in detail and of course you can ask questions. If necessary or desired, the colour will be drawn and determined in consultation. It is advisable to bring any eyebrow pencil. A customer card is then completed and signed and a few questions are asked.
It will cover: blood pressure, diseases, allergies. Blood thinners, such as alcohol, avoid aspirins for treatment. If you are under doctor’s treatment, it is advisable to consult with your doctor. When you are pregnant it is better to wait until after pregnancy.
A numbing cream is applied which we let in 10-15 minutes. After this, the pigmentation is started. In the beginning you will feel nothing of the pigmentation. It will at most feel a bit jitter and kinda strange. If it is going to become sensitive during the treatment, we can add some more cream. The treatment will take about one hour to complete. In between is regularly consulted with the customer.
After the treatment
Immediately after treatment, the treated part is very dark in colour. For the first 2 days, you will be given a special skin-calming PMU gel to protect the pigmentation. Do not use makeup or creams on the pigmentation. After these two days you let the pigmentation air dry and there are ‘ scabs ‘. This may be accompanied by some itching. Do not go scratching in any case but gently knock on the pigmentation. When you scratch the ‘ crusts ‘, you pull the pigment out of the skin and a light spot will emerge. After about 4-7 days, these scabs will automatically loosen and underneath you can see a much lighter tint. Because of this great contrast, it sometimes seems that there is no pigment in the skin. Wait a little while until all the scabs have fallen off. You may want to attach the light pieces with a dark pencil, but in no case pull the scabs off. When all the scabs are gone you will see a nice soft tint. Depending on the treated part and the colour used, the colour may be 70% lighter.
In some cases, a second treatment is required, because certain pieces have not been properly packed or because the skin has repelled too much pigment, causing the entire pigmentation to be slightly out of the case.
Because of the healing of the subcutaneous connective tissue, it is necessary to wait at least 1 month with the after-treatment. In principle, one after-treatment is included.
